Restoring art prints and building new frames.

Damaged prints, foxing and stains caused by moisture

Those two Prints were glued onto the foam board, making it impossible to repair or sell it in the future.

After removing the prints from the frames that had been stored for years, the clips were already rusted.

I left each one for hours on each side in the sun to let the paper dry completely

Removing the stains with a isopropilic solution, using cotton swabs and soft rubber (hired my dad as a helper).

Tools:

Isopropilic alcohol for the glasses and paper stains.

Craft tape for the back part to avoid dust and moisture.

Point driver to fix the foamboard to the frame.

Acid free archival tape.

Passepatout 45o cutter.
