Pepper Rebrand

MotionGraphics and Character Animation

I teamed up with Pepper to help bring their rebrand to life. I worked on videos, logo transitions, refreshed mascot animations, and provided creative guidance to ensure the visuals adapted smoothly across different platforms and channels.

Pepper is the largest deal community in the world. More than 25 million consumers use its platforms every month, generating around
12,000 purchases per minute. The company operates as an umbrella brand, bringing together 12 platforms worldwide.
What makes Pepper unique is the way its users interact. They don’t just browse offers, they engage in discussions, share opinions
and create a strong sense of community. Because of this, any change to the platform is met with great attention and high expectations.

In 2025, they decided to modernize its brand by standardizing design and typography, and in some cases, unifying local platform names under the Pepper identity. To support this transformation, they needed a campaign that would both inform users about the name change and reassure them that the platform itself remained the same, only the design and branding had evolved.

As Pepper is a tech company rather than a video production studio, I was brought in not only to create animations but also to provide creative guidance. My role included designing how the logo transitions would appear, making them dynamic and engaging, and guiding how these animations could be adapted across multiple channels and devices.
This was also the first project where I implemented LottieFiles in my own animation workflow.

A beloved aspect of the community is its mascots, which also underwent a rebrand to make them more contemporary and charismatic,
while keeping their original charm.

After many drafts and storyboards, we developed a clear, concise script that delivered the exact message Pepper wanted. The final videos showcased the old brand transforming into the new identity, complemented by a series of short mascot animations created for Twitch, forums, and other communication channels.

Production:

Below are some production shots. For this project I worked with MohoPro, Adobe Animate, Adobe After Effects and LottieFiles to achieve the final result.

Despite the tight schedule, this project was a lot of fun thanks to an incredibly talented, multidisciplinary team that worked seamlessly together. It was also a different kind of challenge for me, collaborating closely with developers in a tech environment, rather than a production studio, gave me the chance to learn a lot and grow from the experience.
